How to Use Energy Solutions to Save Your Life
Energy solutions can save lives and energy bills in an instant, according to a new study from the University of Michigan.
The research, published in the American Journal of Cardiology, found that when people have access to energy solutions that work, they experience a drop in the number of days they go without a blood pressure check or get a heart attack.
The study, which analyzed data from more than 16,000 U.S. adults between 2003 and 2012, also found that people who use the right energy solutions are about 80 percent less likely to die of heart attacks than those who use less efficient energy solutions.
In addition, the researchers found that energy solutions, such as energy-efficient home furnishing and energy-saving appliances, reduce the risk of premature death by 50 percent.
The energy-savings could be a big help in combating climate change.
The U.N. Environment Program (UNEP) said energy is the most widely used and most pervasive form of pollution in the world.
The world consumes more than 2,000 million metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually, according a study from Cornell University published last year.
Energy can be used to clean up toxic coal mines, increase energy efficiency, save energy from oil drilling and reduce carbon emissions in the power sector.
The UNEP study found that an estimated 9,700 people died from heat-related causes in the U.K. in the first half of 2020, the second-highest total in the entire world.
In the U!
U.S., the number is about 7,000.
In Britain, the number was 4,600.
In Germany, the average death rate in the country is about 1,300 a year.
In Austria, the figure was about 3,200 a year in the year 2020.
